The inspiration behind this design comes from astronomy. Pulsars, known as the 'lighthouses' of the universe, are rotating neutron stars that emit focused beams of electromagnetic radiation from their magnetic poles. A simplified diagram of this phenomenon shows a sphere emitting two cones, the same shape as the candlestick.

Each candlestick is handmade from forged steel components, and polished to highlight the surface texture inherited from the intense heat of the forging process. This raw aesthetic gives each piece a unique fingerprint, an uncommon feature in most contemporary designs.
